Article source: ERNESTO FUSCO INTERIOR DESIGNER In the heart of the historic center of a small Italian town (Benevento), within the ancient walls of the Longobards, this small vegetarian restaurant of 90 sqm has been created.
The restaurant is realized in two levels and divided into 3 different areas. At the entrance we find the first tables and a sitting room surmounted by two natural trees, with the small kitchen open in to this space. An a small sale display full of plants has been created under the staircase leading to the second level. This new space is designed with large green armchairs and white sofas with clean lines. The walls are covered with wooden panel and natural green lichens. In the last room we can find an a more convivial space, with a long unique sitting , single tables and armchairs. The long green wall and the boules lights make this room, romantic and relaxing. Stone and brick vaults, white walls and natural wood panels alternate with green walls. Light colors and shades of green, simple and clean shapes and warm tones of wood contrasting with white walls and dense areas of natural greenery, give an atmosphere of simplicity, nature and freshness.
