Vittorio Shoe Store in Udine, Italy by OFFICINE DASA Srl (Alessandro Rieppi)
The Vittorio shoe store was designed by architect Alessandro Rieppi in the historic center of Udine, inside a prestigious building of Italian architecture of the 20th century.
It was decided to completely eliminate all the existing boiseries, counter-walls, false ceilings, with the design purpose to bring the history of the building “on sight”, enhancing all the antique finishes, such as plasters, brick walls, pavements in the basement and the exposed stone.
The design choice to highlight technological systems and in particular those of lighting is linked to the desire to emphasize the history of the pre-existing building envelope.
In this context, the Officine DASA lamps, with a strong Made in Italy and industrial flavor, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which combines tradition and innovation.
