The U House is characterized by its unifying concrete structure and glass facades.
the project tries to create an environment of openness to the outdoor, the curvilinear geometry with the pitched roofs is accentuated by a thin glazing revealing the landscape around the house.
Envisioned as a fluid extension of the landscape and articulated around a courtyard, the house is entirely spread on one floor enabling free circulation and openness to the landscape.
from an environmental perspective, the house relies mostly on a natural flow of continuous ventilation. The use of subterranean natural reservoirs provide cooling while photovoltaic cells are integrated in the glass facades to provide heating.
