For that reason, the ratio of the waiting room was increased, and the area was expressed in three different forms to arrange a unique atmosphere. The three parts are the common minimalistic structure in the overall white-toned space. It is in balance with each other, yet it has differences in material, color, function, and arrangement method. Along the wall is a long line formed with wooden benches secured to the marble wall, which is simple with only the necessities that give a stable mood. The outside structure in the middle of the waiting area has the function of inserting a media image for patients to watch while waiting on the bench, and there are personal waiting seats inside the black frame of this structure. This is an ideal object that made the space look open by placing a glass wall inside the black frame, which one’s sight can penetrate the wall yet avoid eye contact. The children’s area is arranged separately with the ceiling, walls and furniture entirely colored blue. It was made not to make distracting ambience to the whole place nevertheless, add some fun into it. Now it has become the most perky space in the hospital with its unique colorful highlights.

Other places that patient will encounter, like the doctor’s office and counseling room, are in black and white tone with minimalistic structures. There are also the client’s personal artwork collections of Alan Davie and David Gerstein, and the symbolism of space was increased by harmonizing with graphic elements of large healthy teeth models.

Thus, it was a project that made an outstanding medical space in the district by reinterpreting combination of white minimalistic structures and elements in the wide open area, which brings out strong messages.
