Article source: A4 STUDIO Štrafta Gastro bar is located in the city center of Podgorica, new city district – City Kvart Delta. The project task of interior design was to find ways to offer a contemporary solution and present a quality visual identity that will establish a new brand in the market. Client’s desire was to transform the space placed on the ground floor of a residential building into a modern gastronomic bar. Functional organization of space implies two interconnected spatial units, where the impression of streaming the ambiance to one another through the effect of ease and accessibility of space is gained.
We set the community table centrally, raised it to the height of a counter sitting. Beginning from the very entrance, we continued it through the bar, with the aim of rounding up the space and making it an unambiguous whole. The place is characterized by a modern industrial design with accentuated color details and powerful visual moments generated by used neon lights. The ability to seamlessly transition from day to night was paramount to the overall concept, which is the reason why we gave special care to a mix of lighting solutions. Using the ‘industrial style with art’ was the main starting point. We used industrial elements, greenery, mirrors, warm wood textures and light installations to create the mood of ” hive”. The overall environment designed to provide a comfortable, sincere and colorful approach. The space is rich in details, but also with different playfully moments; we put bicycles on the wall, hung the chairs on the ceiling, and covered the large wall surfaces with artistic graffiti. The dynamic interior design of the establishment sets the mood and attracts visitors. The space with a total area of 150 square meters consists of various areas, where you can linger on a business lunch or stop by for breakfast and enjoy the morning fresh coffee, and every evening there are full of young people.
