The district of Moscow where Culinary is found is not a very famous one. The room itself is lost among tall apartment buildings and business centers. But it was chosen not accidently – having tall tape glazing, unusual configuration and noble pillars of a deep wine, this room has its special Sharm.

Young studio SHOO (became known with Abugosh project, Moscow) under the management of Shushana Khachatrian took up the works on internal space architecture and design of Culinary.

Inspired by complex and deep color of the pillar’s designers decided to fit the interior into the surrounding architectural view by using mimicry technic – internal pillars were painted the same color as the outer ones, which accompanied by chosen light solution allowed to create atmosphere familiar and usual to locals thus inviting them to get to know the new place.

The 250-square-meter room was to house a bakery, showcases for products, an open kitchen, divided into two halls, one of which could be used for children's parties.

At the entrance to the cookery designed oval semi-bar table with usb sockets for mini coworking. We took care of the coffee lover by installing a take&Go station for morning coffee with you.

The bakery was placed at the entrance to the Cantina, fenced off by a transparent and frosted glass construction, so that guests could observe the process of making confectionery and bread.

Above the display cases projected shelf for storage of disposable packaging, utensils and for illumination of the working surface of chefs. It provided a navigation system made of OSB panels.

In the hall you can find a variety of Seating, as a French sofa with the ability to connect and disconnect tables and round tables for companies.
In the decoration of the room mainly used plywood; it is made of all the author's furniture and decorative panels. Made of wood and natural adhesives, it fully reflects the policy of the Studio – to use only environmentally friendly and safe materials in the interior. The selected grade of plywood is now widely used in European and American projects, and in Russia its use in finishing is only gaining momentum, given the versatility, natural beauty and environmental friendliness of the material.

As a natural product, it has characteristic color variations between the sheets due to differences in the age of individual trees, exposure to the sun and a number of other reasons, which gives the material a special dynamics in the interior.

Natural plywood pattern and deep wine color, smooth surface and round perforation, terrazzo and graphic lines, live green plants and OSB panels – all this game of textures, textures, colors and tactile sensations architects wanted to create a place for new experiences and experiences that guests would want to share with others.
