Article source: Direct Tiling Group The project is a contemporary focus on office design, located in West London, United Kingdom. LJ Partnership hoped to create an office design that truly reflected LJ Partnership’s brand & company culture. The key focus of this project was to allow for the creation of co-working spaces & to achieve a modern & stylish look that represented the LJ Partnership brand. In achieving this there were several meetings held in order to establish a relationship with the client & to ensure we created a design that truly reflected what they hoped to achieve with the space available.  Image Courtesy © Rocco Falzon Contemporary Architecture & Office Design: The client hoped to create a modern office design & this was built out of LJ Partnership’s hopes to achieve a modern workspace that reflected contemporary work techniques such as co-working. As designers, we made it our responsibility to achieve this whilst unlocking the space’s true design potential. In doing this, throughout the duration of the project we worked closely with different art & bespoke furniture firms in order to achieve this. Although this was important to the client, it was also our role to create an office space that had both functionality & modern design. Within this, we ensured that all the components within the project were lightweight, compact & bespoke, reducing space consumption, whilst maintaining a sleek design. This included the use of open-booth working spaces to promote collaboration among employees – aligned with the design hopes of our client. Each meeting room within the office holds a different story and the constructed social space features impressive views over London. LJ Partnership’s new office has multiple agile spaces that encourage flexible co-working, with an adopted level of desk sharing, phone booths for privacy and open booths for collaboration work.
