The enabling principle of the fit-out was simple; quality. Founded in 1930, Dodge & Fox is an investment management company with a lengthy heritage. Aligned with the businesses’ traditional values, we combined high-quality craftsmanship with clean architectural lines to achieve a sophisticated finish.

American black walnut beams scale the walls of the strikingly modern reception, decorated with cellular LED lights and recessed downlights to covey a lasting first impression. The stylish entrance is complete with two leather armchairs, a glass coffee table, an oatmeal rug, and an oversized plant pot for added substance. Adaptability is the focus of this space, where an informal lounge, waiting room, breakout space, and coffee corner are combined all into one.

The workplace contains a mixture of private cellular offices and shared workstations, catering to both confidential and collaborative work.

Drawing inspiration from the firm’s headquarters in San Francisco, the boardroom has a clear visual identity, identified through the palette of brown, oatmeal, taupe, and natural wood: achieving a distinct sense of confidence and tradition. Alongside a grand wooden cellular desk, a recessed soft bench offers additional seating, simultaneously absorbing excess acoustics, minimizing echoes, and reverberations to provide the ultimate private experience.

American black walnut finishes, bespoke furniture, and comfortable carpets are coherent in all four private offices, creating a workplace that flows seamlessly & holistically together.

The tea point and library are both neutral rooms that serve to break up the uniformity of the workplace. With a design approach that combines collaboration and downtime, these spaces have transformed how Dodge & Cox employees work with one another.
