Article source: Think Contemporary This project was for .IE Domain Registry offices in Dún Laoghaire. The brief for our client was to redesign the HQ for to create a space that would engage and motivate their staff following the return to the office after Covid. They wanted an workplace that catered to hybrid working giving them flexibility within the office. We introduced new spaces including a breakout space, meeting pods and informal meeting spaces to cater to their new needs and requirements. The canteen area was also a really important space for our client, as they wanted to give their employees a place to get away from their desks and interact with each other.  Image Courtesy © Think Contemporary We wanted the canteen space or the ‘Rec Room’ as it is called to be a relaxing enjoyable space for employees to unwind and catch up together. The lighting in this space and for the whole project all comes from Hicken Lighting. The smaller meeting room space at the back of the open plan area is perfect for brainstorming sessions and can be blocked off using felt room dividers from Friends of Wilson creating a unique design feature. All the office furniture came from Bizquip. We love the use of the private pods in this office by Framery. They are sound proofed, with air ventilation and wifi, perfect for private conversations or high focus tasks. With stunning views of the harbour, the formal meeting room was designed to be professional but contemporary as was the brief for the whole office space. We think this was achieved perfectly with furniture from Bizquip and carpet tiles from Walls to Workstations.
