The Rural Municipal Building in Saue, Harju County by molumba

Sunday, April 24th, 2022

Article source: molumba

The rural municipal building is located in the southern part of the central park of Saue giving it a logical and dignified closure. Viewed from the outside, the office and administrative building seems like a pavilion in the public park. The contradiction between the privacy and the prominent public location of the work environment is solved by double-skin.

Le bâtiment descendant l’escalier in Lido di Jesolo, Italy by ELASTICOFarm

Thursday, April 14th, 2022

Article source: ELASTICOFarm

Jesolo is the Italian seaside town with the largest beach extension. The City is part of a once insular territory which only became a touristic destination in the 1930’s

Large reclamation works have connected the mainland to those islands where during the centuries small farms and fishermen villages had been built. Today Jesolo is part of a vast territory and finds itself near both Venice and the Dolomites, giving the city a privileged position attracting not only local visitors, but also those from Germany, Austria and many other Northern nations. Jesolo Lido is the most touristic part of this city and extends for almost 15 km along streets which run parallel to the sea. One of these roads, only a block away from the beach, is via Bafile, the main shopping street of the city.

Three boxes in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea by Raum Architecture

Article source: Raum Architecture

1) Architecture and elevation plan.

721-11 Damun-ri, Yongmun-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea is an L-shaped land located in the Yongmun Station commercial district.

The client demanded a design that considered co-prosperity with local residents while maintaining the passage of shopping malls and houses in the back that were being made through notices on the site.

Above all, due to the narrow and large space inside the road, there were discussions on whether to place it close to the road for access and cognition of the building or on the rear considering the usability of the building.
