Zamasport Headquarter in Novara, Italy by Frigerio Design Group

The new headquarters of Zamasport – a brand which is among the pioneers of Italian prêt à porter – promotes a new relationship between technology, humans and environment. Evocative and sustainable, Frigerio Design Group’s architecture conveys a concept of wellbeing combining ethics and respect for the environment. Intended to house production and executive areas – offices, creative ateliers, test rooms and a part of production – the new building acts as a hinge between pre-existing buildings.

CTG Investment Building in Shenzhen, China by Aedas

Shenzhen Bao’an Dakonggang zone is located in a core position in the Greater Bay Area. The district fosters the economic development and acts like a pioneer hub establishing the new model of urbanisation.

With bespoke and integrated design, Aedas won the competition of CTG Investment Building. The design, led by Aedas Global Design Principal Kevin Wang, will become an integrated mixed-use complex merging public realms, interactive terraces and collaborative offices.

Baoneng Centre in Shenzhen, China by Aedas

Sungang district is situated within Shenzhen, China’s economic and technological citadel; and as the former hub for logistics distribution and warehouses, it is in the process of transitioning between tradition and innovation. Aedas reflects and accelerates this transition by adopting innovative and sustainable dimensions for Baoneng Centre, injecting vibrancy to create one of the largest mixed-use live-work-recreate communities to serve the district.

With a total area of 800,000 square meters, the prismatic complex comprises a 300m tall Grade-A office tower, a 25-storey apartment tower, and an 11-storey podium of 2 retail and exhibition components namely Baoneng First Space and Baoneng Universal Converge. The development revitalises the area by increasing commercial activities.

Ireland House in San Francisco, California by William Duff Architects

William Duff Architects (WDA) acted as Project Architect for Ireland House, the new LEED Gold home of three Irish government agencies housed under one roof. The project involved the tenant improvement of the entire 9,755 square feet of the entire floor of a Class A office building in San Francisco. The firm wrapped the core in warm wood paneling along with additional soffit details to create a visual shared hearth that can be experienced throughout the workplace. The “hearth” visually and culturally connects the three programs while allowing each agency to have its own identity. The project also features secured zones and a flexible assembly space that can be used for consulate events that are open to the public.

Shohei Shigematsu’s Toranomon Hills Station Tower in Tokyo, Japan by OMA

Mori Building Co., Ltd., a leading urban developer, unveiled on January 24th, 2023, new renderings and identity of Toranomon Hills, and announced the Fall 2023 opening date of Toranomon Hills Station Tower (the Station Tower).

Located in Toranomon Hills “Global Business Center” near Kasumigaseki adjacent to ARK Hills, a lifestyle and cultural center, and within walking distance from Roppongi Hills “Cultural Heart of Tokyo” and Azabudai Hills “Modern Urban Village,”the Station Tower will stand at the terminus of Shintora-dori Avenue, Tokyo’s newly configured axial thoroughfare connecting Tokyo Bay to city center. The tower will add to, and connect, a series of freestanding mixed-use developments to establish Toranomon Hills as the new global hub of Tokyo.

Designed by Frigerio Design Group, the Ferrero Technical Center represents a new frontier for industrial architecture in the name of total quality. Adhering to the standards of Industry 4.0, it focuses on automated and interconnected production, where people and machines work in unison, while respecting its ecosystem. Technology is always seamlessly integrated in a recognizable and reassuring architecture, bringing together the group’s corporate identity, history and know-how.

DIFC Living and Innovation Two in Dubai by LWK + PARTNERS

DIFC Living and Innovation Two is a vital component of phase three of the region’s largest innovation community – DIFC Innovation Hub – with the residences expected to be highly sought-after. Hong Kong-based LWK + PARTNERS’ Dubai studio was successful in winning the international design competition and took on the challenge of creating a mixed-use, live-work-play destination with independent yet seamlessly connected residential and commercial spaces. The team devised creative and innovative solutions to facilitate multiple access points that prioritise security without hindering the connectivity and flow of the existing DIFC masterplan.

YCInox TR Pipe Factory in Kocaeli, Turkey by İGLO ARCHİTECTS

The aim of the project is to design the production and management structure of the Taiwanese stainless steel company investing in Turkey.

The main goals in the construction of the building; employees’ ability to work efficiently and willingly in a qualified and prestigious environment, ease of production and management connections, energy efficiency, sustainability, waste management, and optimization of the process flow were the criteria. In addition, according to the feng shui rules that the company cares about, the entrance angles of the building, spatial relations, the use of form, color, nature elements, the expectation of having a respectful structure that encourages the establishment of fruitful and good relations were guiding in the design.

As the main carrier of the urbanisation process in the suburbs of Shanghai, Jiading New City is an important hub for Shanghai’s development in science and technology, and a recently-established sub-centre for the future city. Shanghai Jiading Financial Center Project is designed by Aedas Global Design Principal Ken Wai, located in the core area of the lot and has been brought into practical use since its completion. The façade perfectly interprets the design concept that focuses on simplicity, organically integrating modern elements into the surrounding nature, and creating a new vibrant hub for the emerging commercial cluster in Jiading New City.
