Outlier Lofts, designed by Bostonbased architecture firm French 2D, is a renovation that addresses the site’s many historical layers. Sited on an urban corner in the neighborhood of Charlestown, the existing structure underwent a series of reorientations, a history that French 2D threads into the new design, considering the way its three sides operate as both ‘backs’ and ‘fronts’ of the building.
This project is not just a school, but a thriving eco system where work and education flow with different stages of learning and life.
Housing a nursery, primary school, an adult education facility, and an investment company, B Campus aspires to be a learning center for all ages and stations of life. The investment firm driving the project sees personal progress as the key to a global progress.
With a population density of 130,000 people per square kilometre, Mongkok, a neighbourhood in Hong Kong, is one of the most densely populated places on the planet.
Executive Director Cary Lau drew inspirations from the city’s post-war structures to design The Beacon, setting an excellent example of contemporary interpretation of traditional architecture. In the early post-war years, it was common to create illegal iron balconies for residential units in Mongkok, to maximise view and area. The building reinterprets these structures in a modern way – the irregular protrusions create unobstructed views for each unit. Also inspired by the home gardens which people created on those iron balconies, a green wall on the podium façade is designed to further connect the building with the historical cityscape and offer more greenery at the pedestrian level.

In July 2018, The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran invited five well-known Iranian architects to compete to design a monumental entrance gate for their building in Tehran.
The structure of the entrance was to not only act as a landmark, but to provide vehicular security. This entrance was to be built in a manner that manoeuvres vehicles and pedestrians through blind spots. The organization is located in the western region of Tehran within an area of 400,000 square meters.
Habibeh Madjdabadi’s proposal offers a huge anthropomorphic sculptural volume with its head sitting centrally over the entrance plaza and the body set back inside. The design transforms a high cone shape, as the monument, into the rectangular shape of the functional part.
Bloomberg’s new European headquarters is respectful of its location in the heart of the City of London, close to the Bank of England, St. Paul’s Cathedral and the church of St. Stephen’s Walbrook. In its form, massing and materials, the new building is uniquely of their place and time – a natural extension of the City that will endure and improve the surrounding public realm. It is a true exemplar of sustainable development, with a BREEAM Outstanding rating – the highest design-stage score ever achieved by any major office development. Occupying a full city block, the 3.2-acre site comprises two buildings united by bridges that span over a pedestrian arcade that reinstates Watling Street, an ancient Roman road that ran through the site. Bloomberg Arcade is now a key route for people moving around the City, with restaurants and cafes at ground level, set back behind an undulating façade under a covered colonnade. Three public plazas, located at each end of the arcade and in front of the building’s entrance, provide new civic spaces in the heart of the Square Mile.

A wide, single storey house, which should be well illuminated, ventilated, opened to the garden and also have privacy from the neighbors. In addition, it should become two independent homes, one for the oldest son and the other for the rest of the family. These were the requestes from our clients when they searched for our office.

In order to redistribute the spaces in this 60’s apartment, the renovation brought down much of the inner walls, to attend the needs of its new inhabitants. The demolition highlighted the glass frames that run trough the whole facade of the apartment, where is located the social area. The luminosity, coming from the floor-to-ceiling windows, crosses all the social areas of the place, making the space – now wide and integrated – filled with natural light.
Located near the center of Barbate (Cadiz ) , El Campero supposed to have an intense and thorough experience with the bluefin tuna trap . In the kitchen the king is tuna . .
The well-preserved gardens of the 17th century Villa Favorita, lining the shores of Lake Lugano at the foot of Monte Bré, are of great historical significance. The 13 romanticist buildings situated in the gardens were erected between 1687 and 1932. Their historicizing style is characteristic of Ticino architecture and, in fact, generally of the villas on the lake shores of northern Italy. Originally, the Villa Favorita was a freestanding, single ensemble of buildings between Lugano and Castagnola. Today it is surrounded by modernist blocks of housing from the second half of the 20th century. This modern architecture, is also a typical Ticino style, that emerged in response to the appeal of the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland as a second home and a financial center.

Schenker Salvi Weber and feld72 shape the new corporate headquarters of Post AG on Vienna’s Rochusmarkt. The building ensemble is a composition of the highest quality which not only skilfully combines old and new but also features contemporary interior architecture which is distinguished by the open communication areas in the offices and the design of the mall. The integration of the building into the urban context enables it to enter into dialogue with its surroundings.
