Gansberg district in Koliba is an exclusive residential complex formed by three residential villas stretching across the south-eastern slopes with panoramic views of Bratislava. Horizontally divided floors emphasized by freely shaped terraces and balconies copy the irregular geomorphological shape of the terrain and its contours. The entire complex is thus organically incorporated into the Koliba slope and creates various configurations of views of the city and of the hill, the patios and the surrounding villas. This creates a quite variable topography of views, but also of floor plans with terraces integrated into the terrain, in loggias, and in semi-open and roof terraces. The horizontal division is supported by the vertical structure of façades which underline the linear dynamics of the variability of full-glass window apertures and grey-and-white vertical stripes of decorated structured plaster resembling a forest parterre.

In this project of single-family homes in Getafe (Madrid) we have applied a concept that arises from the phenomenon of -Jameos del agua-; a natural space and an art, cultural and tourism center devised by César Manrique. Located in the north of the island of Lanzarote, it is also considered an area of ecological sensitivity. For this reason, we want to achieve a unique space from the place where the project is located. This concept has inspired a promotion of 20 single-family homes, within the neighborhood of -El Bercial-, in the municipality of Getafe.

The design of the building is a response to (1) a site situated on one of Pierre L’Enfant’s original arterial streets (2) a program consisting of small dwelling units and (3) the requests of the local neighborhood shareholders.
The program required seven to ten housing units per floor with community rooms, laundry facilities, monitoring stations, private and family bathrooms on each floor. The designers added outdoor play areas on each level to avoid taking children down the elevators to reach outdoor play. The ground floor includes a dining area, computer room, exam room, and administrative areas.
In Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture, the office, salon and office staff are planning to place three houses on one site. Toyama is surrounded by a steep, folding screen-like mountainous area of 3000m class such as the Northern Alps and Tateyama Mountains on three sides, and the mountains carry clean snowmelt water nearby, and a large plain like a deep bay. Blessed with a beautiful and rich natural environment that spreads out, you can see the four seasons changing. The Tateyama Mountain Range with Kurobe Dam creates a landscape that symbolizes Toyama.

Formerly a railway enclave, the Clichy-Batignolles ecodistrict is reconquering this forgotten piece of Parisian ground. This major municipal project was envisioned as a response to the elevated need for housing while paving the way for a durable, mixed-use 21st century city. So much data that had to be compiled to come up with smart solutions for a multi-program block (nursing home, social housing, private housing, religious center, and retail businesses).
Surrounded by mountains, a large roof, more than 100 meters long and more than 30 meters wide, lies on one side of the mountain, leaning on a hillside about 300 meters high, and facing the west and the provincial road. In the settlement villages on the other side of the mountain, the residential houses lean against the mountain, and the eaves are cascaded. This is Xikeng Town, Wencheng County. As one of the four ethnic towns in Zhejiang, it has strong customs of She people. This large roof is Wencheng Forest Oxygen Bar Town Parlor.
As a national key ecological function zone, Wencheng has a forest coverage rate of 72.3% and abundant tourism resources. In addition to the natural landscapes such as Tongling Mountain Gorge, Baizhang Waterfall and Yanmen Grand Canyon, the Xikeng Town where the project is located also has such humanistic landscapes as Liu Ji’s hometown, Anfu Temple, and the folk customs of She people. This project, as a window to show the image of the town and the general situation of the town, integrates the functions of exhibition, reception, conference, tourism service and distribution. The total area of the project is about 10800 square meters, of which 5500 square meters of the basement is the distribution parking lot.
McIntosh Poris Associates’ design for DuCharme Place—a new, ground‐up, 185‐unit luxury apartment community in Detroit’s historic Lafayette Park—is the area’s first lifestyle community in 40 years. The $45‐million complex comprises four mid‐rise buildings, with residences standing three stories tall above a parking/lobby podium base, totaling 188,500 square feet. It is one of many ground‐up residential projects designed by McIntosh Poris Associates throughout the area.
“We’ve been working on designing multi‐family housing developments in Lafayette Park for nearly 15 years,” explained Michael Poris, AIA, Principal of McIntosh Poris Associates. “DuCharme Place builds upon the vision of the park’s original development team by creating a community integrated with nature to support the existing historic district. To respect the site, we wanted the relationship with nature to be a driving factor behind the design. We organized the buildings around landscaped courtyards, while also creating street walls on Lafayette Street, Orleans Street, and DuCharme. Every unit has great views and abundant natural light.”
