No.12 Middle School is one of the best schools in Beijing. There is a strong need from the neighborhood to have the School incorporate kindergarten education in their curriculum. The kindergarten of the school strives for building the best school of the neighborhood, and the architecture of it reflects its ambition. On top of that, the architecture aims for shaping a unique character for the school while enlivening the area of the city.
Explanations about the construction of a kindergarten in Lahnstein
The curved building for a new kindergarten is to be erected as a wooden structure with a formwork of vertical wood panels. The intention of the architects is that the new building is self-consciously integrated into the urban environment.
Especially when building for children, other aspects than usual have to be incorporated into the design process. Who says that a building must inevitably always be designed with the rigid cartesian axes (height / width / depth) as a crate. This is the dynamic structure of the organic building with its curved ground plan for breaking open the rigid geometric shapes.

The idea of building the Um al Nasser children’s center “The Children’s Land” in the Gaza Strip started in 2011 as a response to a call from the local Bedouin community to the Vento di Terra NGO, asking for access to quality health and educational services for children and women of their village.
Difficult areas such as the Gaza Strip are characterized by a systematic lack of urban planning. The decision to build a school complex employing bioclimatic architecture criteria was driven by the need to use readily available and cheap local resources.

Nara province where the site located has 8 world heritage architectures. So this city has a lot of history. On the other side, the site is located at the center of the industrial residence in Yamatokoriyama city. Surrounding is a special sight with simple and no color factories. This project is to reform an old kindergarten at that site.
The project which is an old decrepit kindergarten located at Izumi city in the south of Osaka.
Izumi is a city which take the textile as the main industry from long time ago. But now as the work transfer to the overseas where has cheap labor, the local industry recession is today’s situation. About this planning, we set two topics. One is, By daily activities to solve kids’ lake of exercise which caused by inadequate site. Another is, for teaching kids about the local history, put in the element of textile which representative the local industry.
All moved in! The extension of the primary school in the Tyrolean municipality of Absam was completed in September 2016. After one-and-a-half years of construction, kids are now frolicking around in the two-story kindergarten. The first sport classes are already taking place in the triple gymnasium, and sweet sounds are floating down from the new music school under the roof of the historic primary school building.
There wasn’t much space for the new building in the 7000-person community of Absam, the “village of the Olympians” in the Hall-Wattens region, just 20 minutes by car from Innsbruck. So the architects Schenker Salvi Weber – the only ones among the 20 competition participants – decided to situate the sports hall underground and, for structural reasons, build the two-story kindergarten atop in a lightweight wood frame construction.

Nestling within the village structure of Valdaora di Sotto in South Tyrol, the kindergarten building communicates the interplay between tradition, contemporary life and nature. The third kindergarten made by feld72 aligns itself within its tranquil background without being subordinate to it. Self-evident and uncontrived. Embedded sensuously in its location, the building responds to the dominant aura of the parish church with the cemetery chapel and the elementary school in the centre of Valdaora di Sotto. The timber building sits as though in an encasement within the massive surrounding wall, lending security.
Traditional primary and secondary school planning in modern Chinese cities usually provides students and children with an adult-scale campus environment at an excessively early stage. Such environment gives no help to them in coping with high educational and social pressure. Facing these phenomenon, it is the architects’ responsibility to subversively break these conventions in school planning and offer children with space of their own scale and age in which they will enjoy living and studying.
MAD architects have completed their first project in Japan, the Clover House kindergarten. Located in the small town of Okazaki, the school’s setting boasts views of the paddy fields and mountains, characteristic of the Aichi Prefecture. The kindergarten was originally operated out of the old family home of siblings Kentaro and Tamaki Nara, which soon became too small and unfit for expanding their educational goals. The siblings desired to create a modern educational institution where children could feel as comfortable as they do in their own homes, allowing them to grow and learn in a nurturing setting.
