Our installation, called Moon, was designed specifically for Gran Via by commission of the City of Madrid. It consists of 31 different light motives that, as a whole, acts like a flip book at urban scale of 31 images. Instead of flipping through the pages with the thumb to produce a primitive cinematographic illusion of motion or animated pictures, with Moon it is the spectator itself that creates this effect by moving himself along the street.

We proposed a place where a park, facilities and the around environment are mixing together like a forest for Ichiharashi-sui & Choukoku no Oka. The existing building at the site would be renovated to enhance the beautiful scenery of the park in front of the structure. Inside and outside, old and new would be harmonized as one space at the place. The condition could be explained as café ore, which is keeping a taste of coffee and milk, but also create a new taste as café ore.
This is a residential project that has a unique garden at the front of the house. The building, located in a residential area in Kodaira-shi, Tokyo, was designed for 4 family members. The site is located in a place where it is directly connected to the public street. Because of the conditions, our theme was to create a house to open to the outside yet it could keep a private space.
The house in Fukuyama is standing at rising of a brae. where it has a panoramic view of Fukuyama city. The client wanted their house to open to the great view of the city, and on the same time, to close from surroundings for privacy. For the two opposite requests, we designed the house considering a form of the site and its material use. Because the site was placed at lower level of a street, all rooms were put at the level to block neighbors eyes, and at the opposite side, it is fully open to the Fukuyama city.
Since the year 2000, the City of Trois-Rivières (Three Rivers), Quebec, Canada, is developing a plan to urbanize a site formerly occupied by a paper mill on the banks of the Saint-Laurent and Saint-Maurice rivers. As the development’s masterpiece, the city proposes to build a 10,000-seat outdoor amphitheatre. The site’s exceptional location between the downtown area and the water calls for a landmark building.
