Golden Bubbles in Hong Kong, China by People’s Architecture Office

Designed specifically for the K11, Golden Bubbles reflect and exaggerate the movement of people above, below and around. These large golden inflatables span the atrium, weaving between multiple levels and escalators. The objects act as curved mirrors distorting reality by warping the surroundings into one field of view.

City Centre in Siliguri, India by Morphogenesis

Located at the entrance of the 400-acre Uttorayon Township, the City Centre attempts to create a much-needed, organized commercial district for the city of Siliguri. It is positioned as an interface between the township and the city that envisages a new destination for the local community and emerges as an urban landscape in between the offices and commercial components of the master plan.

Kurve 7 in Bangkok, Thailand by Stu/D/O Architects

Kurve 7 is a community mall located within a dense residential district in the Eastern part of Bangkok, Krungthep Kreetha 7. Using a series of soft curvature strategies to define, frame, lead, and connect, Stu/D/O is able to realize their goal of creating a new neighborhood commercial space that is linked together by a series of open air garden and public space rather than creating a large enclosed community mall.

The project insists on a part of the territory on the sidelines of a craft area characterized by industrial buildings, interested mainly from the junction of the junction between the Provincial Road No. 5 Francesca South and the new roads for huts. This area, which is a natural head to the new road, cotituisce the \”back door\” access to the town of Santa Maria a Monte going to point the telescope prospective with the town’s historic center immediately recognizable to those who arrive from the highway or more generally from the south and east.

International Finance Center in Seoul, Korea by Arquitectonica

American International Group and the Seoul Metropolitan Government were partners in the development of this 507,075m2 / 5,458,153sf mixed-use project in which Arquitectonica designed the master plan, the architecture and portions of the interiors. The complex became a new hub for the financial, securities and insurance companies concentrated in Seoul. It features three international A-grade commercial office towers, a five-star hotel, three-level luxury retail mall, megaplex cinema complex, fine dining and drinking establishments and significant new outdoor public spaces. The site is located at the center of Yeouido Island, and will serve as a major pedestrian link between the subway station and Riverside and Yeouido Plaza Park.

Fornebu S in Norway by AMB arkitekter

Fornebu S is the latest contribution to Fornebulandet, a peninsula alongside Oslofjord, currently in the process of urban renewal. The centre’s strategic siting gives residents of Snarøya and Fornebu access to a much needed shopping precinct and meeting place. The main square provides an active connection to the centre and an important node for the orientation and gathering of people in the area. The square consists of restaurants, cafes and a cultural arena to magnify the bustling life of the area both during and after closing times.

Gostivar is a city in north-west Macedonia, away from the capital of Macedonia of only 60 km. Gostivar is a city that in recent years has grown rapidly and transforms its architectural and urban situation. In city urban matrix everyday appear , as an idea or as a realization , buildings with disparate character. In the new urban segments of the city or in already existing locations appear buildings that modify the form in which the city develops. The downtown area is particularly affected with the tendency for the emergence of integrated buildings in areas where the frequency of activities and events is with the highest percentage. With the development of the city of Gostivar, proportionally are developing and emerging new human needs that impact on the concept of building that would occur in the city.

MegaBox is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination in East Kowloon, Hong Kong. This vertical mall is spread into 19 levels with a total area of 110,000 sqm. Our renovation design aims to bring a new fresh look onto the concept of a “big box” of di versified offer, and promote significant changes for a smoother operation and better customer satisfaction. Those are: creation of clear drop-off and pick -up zones, strong and comfortable sense of arrival, implementation of effective digital way-finding and directories signage, improvement of vertical circulation strategy, enhancement of lighting and general ambiance.

Sitting on a prominent corner on Chiang Mai ring road, this lifestyle retail centre combines indoor shopping and outdoor enjoyment.

The main building features 5 levels of shopping, eating, entertainment, multiplex cinema and ice-skating rink and extends outwards through a system of canopy links that connect to event plazas and pavilion buildings amongst landscaped gardens.

Nanxiang Mall in Shanghai, China by Girimun Architects

This lifestyle shopping mall is located at the fringe of a compound of high-rise apartments and serves the residents of a high-end suburb of Shanghai built around a giant man-made artificial lake. Originated at the lake, a canal waterfront system of pedestrian-friendly walkways culminates on this plot. The design is therefore driven by the integration between indoor and outdoor spaces where the retail experience extends itself from the main building onto sunken squares, pavilion restaurants, signage towers and feature canopies.
