The new laboratory building, Biomedicum, is to be the powerhouse for research at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, one of the world''s leading medical universities, known amongst other things for selecting the recipients of the Nobel Prize in medicine and physiology.

BioCruces is the Medical Research Institute of the Cruces Teaching Hospital, a healthcare reference within the Basque Country, with a solid history of teaching and research. Its goals include the promotion, cohesion and support of research groups that make up the Institute in order to develop quality translational research and promote effective innovation and collaboration with other entities.
Up until the construction of the new facility, the institute carried out its activity within the general services building of the Cruces hospital, also designed by IDOM. Part of its activity will continue to run there, aside from the new building, its purpose complementary to the main operation.
Zaha Hadid Architects working with TPO Pride Architects (Russia) have been selected as one of the consortiums to build the new Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye neighbourhood.
The jury of the invited competition also selected two further consortiums to develop the project: Nikken Sekkei (Japan) with UNK Project (Russia); and Archea Associati (Italy) with ABD Architects (Russia).

Medly Pharmacy is a new neighborhood pharmacy in Brooklyn, owned by Marg and Sahaj Patel and designed by Sergio Mannino Studio.
Retailers have begun to understand the necessity of transforming businesses into every-channel retail platforms, where online and physical stores work as one, not needing to compete with each other. Pharmacies in particular are beginning to take advantage of this, with Medly being among the first in New York to do embrace the merits of both online and physical. Medly has designed a free complementary app that saves customers the hassle of having to leave the house when sick, let alone having to wait in line for hours just to get prescriptions. But a successful online business needs a physical counterpart and our design for Medly has been created with this in mind.
Built in 1924, the existing building had revolved around medical-related usage, first serving as a hostel for medical students and subsequently nurses’ quarters after World War II. This legacy is allowed to persist through its transformation into the new medical school.

– A Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine tucking away in the pinus thunbergii forest
Weihai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine is situated in a coastal pinus thunbergii forest in the East New Town of Weihai near the sea, which covers a total construction area of around 8000m2. The hospital, as a comprehensive health care facility, enjoys three main parts: programme exhibition centre of the East New Town, Kangyang Yile Sanatorium and Medical Care Houses.
Centogene AG is a company that operates worldwide in the field of analysis of rare congenital diseases through genetic diagnostic testing. Originated by a spin-off from the University of Rostock, the company is growing rapidly and dynamically. The decision for a new building has been made for about 220 employees at the location Rostock.
The new location is realized in an attractive position at the water front on the Silohalbinsel in Rostock. The building design consists of staggered structures: a continuous podium on the ground floor with the main entrance and two rising 2-storey structures. They surround above the ground floor a semi-public greened atrium which opens on both sides towards the water.
