Pent House Altaire 36 has a composition based on its architectural program in which its geometry laid on proportion and orthogonality extends parallel and perpendicular axes towards the main area: a central garden that arranges views and circulation through a contemplative image of Mexico City.
This space divides the project into 2 different areas: public and private. Both converge into an impressive entrance hall covered with kassama marble plates that frame the elevators. A simple system of partitions divides this first module between the penthouse and a small office. Natural light comes from the central garden and from a large terrace.
British Fashion designer Bella Freud has collaborated with Maria Speake – co-founder of design and salvage mecca Retrouvius – to apply her cool-girl chic to Helios 710, a three bedroom penthouse in The Helios, a circular Grade II-listed building at Television Centre, the former BBC headquarters in White City.
Synonymous with elegant West-London style, Bella Freud’s beautifully made, covetable clothing is informed by a passion for music, art and cinema, and the beguiling irreverence of rock n’ roll glamour. For Helios 710, they have created an interior that echoes spaces dear to Bella’s heart, with art and objects that share cultural references familiar from her fashion.
Kolenik’s design for commanding 1000m2 Rotterdam penthouse takes exclusivity to a whole new level.
Interior designer Robert Kolenik was given the dream job of creating a design proposal for the Netherlands’ most exclusive penthouse. ‘The Box’ forms the extravagant focal point of the glittering waterfront Bay House complex, designed by Joke Vos Architecten, and set at the heart of the city’s vibrant Rijnhaven district. Developer Frame Vastgoed commissioned Kolenik to conjure up an exclusive, cosmopolitan feel for the 1000m2 penthouse to show buyers what was possible for this impressive space.
‘The Box’ is an ultra high-end apartment with an imposing storey height of up to 12 metres, two private lifts, several private parking spaces, and generous floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views. Best of all, the interior architecture can still be adjusted according to the buyer’s wishes.
The Scotts Tower SOHO apartment building is situated on a prime location in Singapore, close to the Orchard Road luxury shopping district and with views encompassing both nearby parkland and the panoramic cityscape of Singapore City.
The 18,500m2, 31-storey, 231-unit tower consists of 1 to 3-bedroom apartments and 4-bedroom penthouses, along with expansive landscaped gardens, sky terraces, penthouse roof gardens and a variety of recreational facilities.
Ben van Berkel: “An interesting facet of The Scotts Tower is the way that it reacts to the urban context of Singapore. Instead of the more usual means of planning a city horizontally, we have created neighbourhoods in the sky: a vertical city where each zone has its own distinct identity.”
