The Caveman in Ponte de Lima, Portugal by Tiago do Vale Architects

Having as a starting point a shoe store built in the late ’90s, this new commercial space—which targets a very specific (and demanding) market with a wide range of products—required a project designed to have great flexibility in the presentation of the products, generate a space with a strong, recognizable and repeatable image, while achieving it at a very low cost.

Pinnacle One Yonge in Toronto, Canada by Hariri Pontarini Architects

Hariri Pontarini Architects (HPA) and Pinnacle International have unveiled their design for the over four million square-foot property at One Yonge. The design was led by Micheal De Cotiis, President and CEO of Pinnacle International and David Ponatrini, Founding Principal of HPA, who consider this project a successful demonstration of collaboration between the City, Waterfront Toronto, Developer, and Architect.

55 Percy Place in Dublin, Ireland by ODOSarchitects

Situated adjacent to the canal and fronting onto Haddington Road this innovative mixed use development takes up the geometry of its site and remakes the street edge. The scheme emerged from an existing grant of permission which the architect was tasked with reconfiguring and thereby improving the scheme with the agreement of the local authority.

HOK and Parsons Brinckerhoff designed ARTIC as an innovative new transit station that serves as a destination in itself. The project brings together transit, dining, retail and entertainment options in an iconic terminal building.

In twenty years, the Zuidas area of Amsterdam has developed into the Netherlands main international business centre, which resulted in a reduced focus on residential interests. The development of Valley is part of the city’s ambition to correct this by transforming the area into a more liveable and complete urban quarter, welcoming large amounts of residents and additional public facilities to the area over the next decade.

The Spot is a new multi brand chain of premium fashion sportswear stores, currently located in three retail spaces in Belgrade and Novi Sad, Serbia. The request of the client was to create a space oriented towards the customers who use sportswear to create their own style and identity. During the design process, the aim was to create a dynamic, modern and distinctive space, in accordance with the concept of The Spot. The idea was to design a unique space, which customers could easily identify with.

Parque Toreo in Naucalpan, Mexico by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos

There is a clear trend in leading cities worldwide towards urban transformation that is above all the result of social and demographic evolution, reconciling densities and land uses to trigger development.

“Parque Toreo” was designed as a mixed-use complex and as a prime example of this phenomenon of urbanization. The site is located in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, the most developed suburban area with significant commerce to the north of Mexico City. It measures 46,793.57 sqm and includes access to main roads such as: Periférico Norte, Río San Joaquín Avenue and Parque de Chapultepec Avenue.

8 Finsbury Circus in London by WilkinsonEyre

Following a design competition in 2011, WilkinsonEyre was appointed for the redevelopment of the former River Plate House in Finsbury Circus. Working to the client’s overall vision for an ‘exemplary’ new office building for this historic City site adjacent to the listed Britannic House by Edwin Lutyens, with access from both Finsbury Circus and South Place. The new building provides 15,000m² of grade A, flexible office space with ground floor retail.
