School building built in 50 days for the earthquake emergency in Emilia Romagna.From the front plaza, the building presents itself as concrete wall that acts as a fence. A strong wall, imposing, rough, that gives the idea of strength and the sense of protection to parents who bring their children to school.

The town of Courbevoie took the decision to build the new Sonia Delaunay school after the joining together of Florian and Hugo, two existing pre-schools. The new school includes nine classrooms and five other rooms for after-school and extra-curricular activities spread over 3000m².

The preschool is part of the street Pajol in a neighborhood full renewal in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
The project is a major renovation with an arrangement of indoor and outdoor spaces and the design of specific furniture.
The expansion of educational facilities of the “Escola Gavina” involves the construction of a pavilion which can host all type of mass events (meetings, parties, theatrical and musical performances, etc.) in addition to regular use as sports ground. The program comes complete with one music room and a psychomotor one.
The principal idea in the site of the high school Honoré de Balzac de Castelnau-le-Lez was to reconquer space by a better distribution of constructions in order to create a scale of user-friendliness, as well in the buildings as in the outdoor areas. The first action was to reconsider the current landscape, to bring a functionality to external installations thus conveying true space qualities and to create a total logic of circulation within the site. The constitution of this new urbanity becomes the base of a shared and porous space, generator of exchanges comparable with the strategic constitution of a campus. The nature becomes the vector of a new contemporary urbanity organized around inter-connected buildings.
This school façade project came to us at a stage when the construction of the 2 academic blocks was already underway. The blocks were rather generic, with 6 floors of classrooms, labs, and other facilities arranged towards the periphery around matching central courtyards. Our brief was to work within these existing parameters to make a school. So we developed a design program in terms of circulation, movement, ventilation, classrooms and other concerns.”
The site where we developed the extension of the existing school is located in the southeast of Alcala de Guadaira, a new urbanized area called \”Los Cercadillos \”; the neighborhood is still in development, ending its limit towards the Guadaira River in the south.
Proudhon secondary school was built in 1971. It is located in the Palente district, to the north of Besançon. It is surrounded by the Pergaud sixth form secondary school and the Orchamps gymnasium. The original architecture is typical of the mass urbanisation of the 1960s and the policy of standardisation, two phenomena which forged the “ordinary” heritage of the 20th century.
