With the condition of the project’s site location having 20 meters width and 80 meters long which is considered as a challenging land type in the design of single detached houses in the city. One of design criteria comes from the owner’s request, he loves to write and read books and always exercises to keep himself to be in a good health. We have imagined this house which has a very private, serenity, and a lot of greenery space, and integrating with exercising units (gym, outdoor swimming pool, and running track).

This House is located on the excusive village called Baan Ing Doi. The original architectural style of this village was inspired by English Countryside Style, in particular the style of the large covering roof and small dormers. Integration between the new and the existing is our important goal. Our design is based on our principle Tropical Minimal/Modern – has been inserted into the form of English Countryside Traditional house.
NT house is located in the early housing project (established around 1960) in Chiang Mai city, which is in the vicinity of DoiSuthep (the most important mountain of Chiang Mai). Not only because of the location wise, but also because the personality of two owners who love peace, nature and privacy can be regarded as significant factors in designing this house. The design was primarily chosen to respond to both project contexts – to create a view that can appreciate nature – and the complete privacy of the house.
Little Shelter Hotel is located in a quiet corner of Chiang Mai, the former capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom. The city is rich with tradition, culture, and craft. The old cityscape and its vernacular architecture are characterized by wood structure with shingle pitched roof. The site is only a short drive from the 700-year-old ancient city wall. It is a small plot surrounded by large trees, facing the Ping river on the west and a quiet alley on the east.
The simple building volume is formed straightforwardly by set-back and height restrictions. The roof form inspired by traditional hip roofs as homage to the local architecture has a little reinterpretation with an asymmetrical form blending naturally with the surrounding tree top silhouette. The west side of the roof is partially carved out to become a roof deck for the guests to enjoy the panoramic river view at sunset.
The client was looking for a modern interpretation of using natural materials. Adobe brick walls combined with wooden roof structures were designed in a way to make this earth and wood residence both functional as a modern family home as well as in harmony with its environment and surroundings. This meant a design and finish fit for the needs and requirements of a 21st century family.
ASA Lanna Center is located on a highway in Chiang Mai, Northern province of Thailand. As a branch office of Association of Siamese Architects (ASA), the design aims to find the balance between keeping the local culture identity while accommodating requirements of today.
Sitting on a prominent corner on Chiang Mai ring road, this lifestyle retail centre combines indoor shopping and outdoor enjoyment.
The main building features 5 levels of shopping, eating, entertainment, multiplex cinema and ice-skating rink and extends outwards through a system of canopy links that connect to event plazas and pavilion buildings amongst landscaped gardens.
