Hotel Tenda Rossa is a waterfront property on the Marina di Carrara coast with 70 years of experience in the tradition of hospitality. Throughout several phases it has been expanded and renovated to keep pace with the needs of customers who are ever more attentive to the quality of their accommodations. In this spirit the 2017 renovation, upgrade and expansion work has begun to give a face lift to the building and to house three new suites on the ground floor (sea side). The architectural design was awarded to architect Marco Andreoni while the interior design project was the work of architect Daniele Menichini.
The “Supreme Sport Village” is a sports center located in Rome, in a suburb called Tor Sapienza, close to the eastern border of the city between Via Collatina and Via Prenestina.
The project is situated in the green spaces along Viale Giorgio Morandi and is placed in the center of the area, therefore the architectural volume works as a filter between the parking lot and the sports fields.
The project involves the restoration of a small apartment for tourist use in the historical centre of Mantova.
The apartment BROLETTOUNO belongs to a long design research path, which emerges in various interventions on built heritage.
Basically we try to keep together two worlds, the one of the old and the one of the new, in a balance able to guarantee the identity of both of them. Light and shadow are kept together in their ambiguity and plurality, without sacrificing the reasons of one at the expense of the other.
The historic center of Milan stands out for its private courtyards with unsuspected urban landscapes.
Inside the building complex formerly called “Quartiere Piave”, near Porta Venezia, the young Milanese studio LPzR has designed two residential projects set among historical buildings, typical Milanese tenements and refurbished factories.
The new beverage market is located along the busy north ring in the industrial area of Brunico. The new building is designed as a beverage wholesale shop and is located directly adjacent to the existing headquarters and warehouse of the company Harpf.
The new beverage market is designed as a wood construction for several reasons: the new beverage market was built on some existing underground storage, so the lightweight applied had to be appropriated.
Climbing and swim at home. An alternative possibility.
Circle is the design name of a small apartment in Cuneo.
The design idea comes from the merging of two important elements: the physical space characterizing an attic ceilings and the passion of the two buyers for climbing and swimming.
Casa SN is an attic built thanks to the intervention of a total renovation of 1940’s villa in the first hills closed to the center of Bologna – Italy.
The light passes through the many windows both from the walls and the roof and it’s reflected on the white surfaces of furniture and finishes, expanding the space. The bleached wooden floor, the roof panel covered with light gray and ocher veils and the white walls create a box that acts as a passepartout where both custom-made furniture and industrial furnishings are emphasized. The heart of the house is a large open space where the living area and the kitchen, overlooking the dining area, are located. The kitchen, as well as all ad hoc furnishings, has been conceived as a functional and plastic block that adapts to the context. Every fixed furniture – in white opaque – has been crafted artisanally by the carpenter on a specific project made by the architect, going to be embedded in architectural volumes, supporting the slopes of the roof.
For this building, Nicolli designed and installed the glass shell with purposely designed metal sun breakers inspired by the laser technology of the company. The double function of screening and porch of the sun breakers is achieved with only three types of beams (in aluminium) and one type of tilted risers (in steel), both with simple geometric shapes. The whole sun breaker system was conceived for maximum protection from sun rays in all seasons.
The project provides for a new set-up of the “Sala delle Capriate” in the “Palazzo della Ragione” of Upper Bergamo. The building dates back to the XII century and represents the physical and functional center of the historic city. It is the core of a system of open public spaces and it directly relates to them on different sides. Once the building stopped to host the municipality, the upper room changed a series of different functions. Today its walls are covered with a significant review of art pieces collected over time from different buildings of the city.
