Shenzhen Mind the Sea Sales Gallery in China by Blvd International

Sunday, August 20th, 2017

Article source: Blvd International

Different from traditional real estate sales gallery, this project emphasizes more on conceptual feature, aiming to present the environmental, modern and creative branding spirit to visitors. With white as the background color, the whole space conveys a pure aesthetics of minimalism. White is open to all possibilities and it embraces future to the largest extent. Touched up by the abstract artistic ambience, the space is overwhelmed with a deep and delicate aesthetic perception.

Traditional expressions of eastern Zen are diversified. However, what we want to express is not the language deliberately posted with such labels but a kind of quiet expression that attaches importance to meaning instead of form. The project covers a showroom of 100 square meters and an office space of 700 square meters. Gene core of the major brand QUALLIN in the showroom is also created by us–trace to its source, and return to simplicity.

Public Square and Passenger Facilities Renovation of Guangzhou East Railway Station in Shenzhen, China by Architectural design and Research Institute of SCUT

Friday, June 30th, 2017

Article source: Architectural design and Research Institute of SCUT

Back Ground Story

Located at the north end of the central axis, Guangzhou East Railway Station is one of the biggest railway terminals in China. The old station building, constructed in the Mid 90’s, was suffered from poor organizations of circulations, light and ventilation. Before renovation, numerous people and vehicles flows had to squeeze under a dark concrete panel to enter the station. Above the panel however, there was an abandoned platform, giant in scale, empty with people, without the quality of a public space it supposed to have.

Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition (MOCAPE) in Shenzhen, China by GD-Lighting Design

Saturday, January 28th, 2017

Article source: Sunshine PR

Shenzhen Mocape is located north of the Shenzhen Civic Centre; it is also the last major public cultural project in Shenzhen.

The building is an integration of the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Arts and the Urban Planning Exhibition Halls. Surface materials of glass, perforated plate, and stone extend and twist along the steel structure, creating a complicated architecture full of vitality. However, the unique façade form also created great difficulties in lighting design. Lighting design conquered multiple challenges and successfully inte-grated within the building, neatly and sharply presented a clear and translucent city “rock”.
