The site is an hour’s drive away through the East from Bangkok; Chachoengsao, in which the suburb’s living environment is closed to a city, many factories and the sea (Gulf of Thailand), which produces excessive level of soil salinity. A non-terrain land with an artificial pond is where the villa is located. This man-made pond was built to be used as consuming water as well as an atmospheric visualization and all relaxation senses. As mentioned above, saline soil causes brackish water in the pond, which the water was no longer used for consuming not only for household use, but also agricultural use. In order to alter this low biodiversity water into freshwater, rainwater is needed to dilute an existing water in the pond.

FH Office is a mixed-use development project. With an area of 2,000 square metres, this 7-storey high building consists of both commercial and residential space and is located on the west side of Bangkok.
The concept of FH Office took shape when we had a conversation with the owner of the project and found his perspective towards physical well-being very engaging: “True, we are a pharmaceutical company, but we never want people to become ill. We also provide other dietary supplements to support healthy living. We as an administrative team also encourage healthy lifestyle among our employees and lead by example by using stairs instead of elevators, for instance.”
Sits by a lagoon but in the suburb of Bangkok, this week-end getaway house features a laid-back ambience where the dwellers could be unwinded in its serene settings, away from the busy urban routines. Isolated yet within reach from CBD. The overall layout was mainly organized around this dual aspect quality. The arrival front facing the entry road and the opposite reflecting the water surface in. The 2 main axis of the massing are also perfectly aligned the perfect view angle for any living corners in the residence and the other to the entrance from the main road. This creates interesting twist and interlocking massing articulation.
The living amidst the rapid growth of urban population and high rises in Bangkok, a critical question is raised: how can we adjust ourselves to live peacefully and privately in this speedily changed environment and life styles? In doing so, how can we avoid losing contact with the amenities that megacity provides us and accessibility to the greenspace? A Bangkok-based well known architectural firm, Ayutt and Associates design (AAd) proposes an alternative design solution to mitigate this urban-dwelling problematic issue by crafting the home-office buildings called “THE Haute”, a self-sustainable work place and residence, to become new solution concept for next generation of housing development in Thailand.
A Bangkok-based well known architectural firm, Ayutt and Associates design (AAd) proposed an alternative design solution to mitigate the urban-dwelling problematic issue by crafting a INTERLUDE house. INTERLUDE is a house designed not as the main act but for the essential little moments in between. The client’s brief was for a home that can be lived in practically, and on frequent occasions be able to host parties of up to 30 guests. Its primary function is to serve as a liveable home, a welcome break away from one act of life and another in an ever-bustling Bangkok city.
The site is situated amongst a densely constructed area, accessed only by a heavily trafficked small 4.5 meters wide road. Contiguous to its north, east, and west are apartment, condominium, and serviced apartment, respectively. This busy neighbourhood never sleeps. The southern neighbour provides the only relief with their traditional two storey wooden home towards the southwest corner of the site, and a densely planted garden that occupies the area adjacent to the length of the site.

The layout of the house is arranged in T-shape so all rooms have at least two sides which are in-touch with the outdoor greenery and fully taking-in natural light. The extrusion of blocks creates semi-outdoor veranda which acts as a transition between inside and outside, making the house more opened and relaxed. Using post tension structure, the span can be longer which results in a sleek aesthetic, a column-free space for the multi-usage of space and the ultimate air flow.

The Bangkok store opened last year with a spectacular party and, now that corona measures in Thailand have been relaxed, visitors can shop again to their heart’s content.
This House is located on the excusive village called Baan Ing Doi. The original architectural style of this village was inspired by English Countryside Style, in particular the style of the large covering roof and small dormers. Integration between the new and the existing is our important goal. Our design is based on our principle Tropical Minimal/Modern – has been inserted into the form of English Countryside Traditional house.
