Designed by Tabanlioglu Architects, the new Cultural Icon for Istanbul, the Ataturk Cultural Center, was unveiled on November 6th.
The new contemporary culture center will appeal to a general public greater than other facilities have previously been possible to accommodate. Although it will mainly serve as a new opera house, the center will also have venues ranging from cinema and theater to exhibition halls, cafes and restaurants.
The Atatürk Cultural Center will be built to accommodate performances of international stature and designed to contemporary requirements and current technologies. As a very comprehensive urban structure, the center is also expected to be a major attraction for the city’s residents and thousands of tourists visiting from around the world.
Preservation, restoration, and a new 21st century design provide the foundation and future for this great social experiment and public project that will serve generations of visitors and future populations of Turkish citizens.
The Diyarbakır Discovery Center and the Islamic Science Museum, designed by Studio Vertebra are located close to the educational units, allowing to become the center of attraction in the city. Having many functions such as planetarium, activity areas, botanical garden, the project aims to create an education-oriented center in the area it resides.

During the completion and commissioning of the building, the concept and application projects have been created.

The area of KentPlus YALOVA Wellness SPA Resort designed by Project Design Group in the settlement of Dereliköy in Armutlu of Yalova, which is situated on land with an area of approximately 330.000 m², welcome people with its hill topography, mild climate and spectacular sea view and is set in green countryside, enabling resident to re-establish contact with nature.
Akasya Acıbadem is a residential complex designed by Evrenol Architects, a leading architecture office based in İstanbul. The project has been designed as 3 differents parcels: The Lake, The Woods and The City… The parcels are connected by the ”Oval Garden”, a central green area in the middle of the master plan.
Designing 200 m² apartment flat within 38. Cadde project, Gonye Proje Tasarim enriched a modern design line with the choice of materials and fine details by giving priority to the visual design richness along the functions.
Upon the information obtained from the homeowner that hosting guests at home is still a frequent practice in Anatolia in comparison with big cities, the entrance areas have been kept relatively spacious and special cloakrooms and cupboards were designed where shoes and clothings can be stored in a practical manner. The kitchen and living doors opening to the entranceway were specially customized for the project in a way that it slides in the wall in order to avoid loss of space, featuring a complementary wood-coated panel and mirror sideboard.
Slash architects first building in Mersin one of the big towns in Turkey is a four stories mixed use building. The building is located in an area where there are a lot of hospitals and universities. The building aims to host mostly students of universities and workers of the hospitals around.
In this project, slash architects have re-designed an existing shell of an under-construction building. Re-writing the planning and the façade of an existing construction; the designers have edited the whole layout considering to emphasize the façade of the shopping units and creating a lively green environment for the office workers.
