The usual access configuration to real estate developments is characterized by presenting a portal as a dividing plane between the interior and exterior, beyond a scenographic object, the project’s response proposes an open and public space. The space distributes the circulation and accesses to different stages and uses of the complex. The internal communication roads for low impact vehicles are designed from this square to the new development.

From the first visit to the site where the Tree House is located, three premises for the project were evident, “the permanence of an ancient Zapote tree, the need for more openness in the space, and to cause the least impact on the natural and built environments.”
The Lemon Tree House, a single-family residence that develops on two floors. Its composition, divided into two clear sections: the first area, where the main access from the street is located and is occupied by the existing construction and the second area where the bedrooms and central courtyard are located. The courtyard functions as: terrace, pool and as a connection to the new building. The terrace, acts as a distribuitor, housing the beginning of the stairway and allows access to the bedrooms.
Casa abierta is a Project for a couple of my dearest friends.
A small piece of land in one of the most exclusive developments in the city was the perfect excuse to put on practice what the project represents itself: unfold the barrier between the outdoor and the indoor space.
“Humans should not try to conquer nature with technology, they should create architecture that is blessed by nature” Toyo Ito
Immersed in a 2300 square meter plot containing around 60 trees is Casa Canto Cholul, a project that seeks to create a dynamic, spatial and formal coexistence between nature and architecture. Curved walls made with stone from the region and pigmented cement embrace the trees as if trying to fit in, these being the ones that give a welcome into the house; paths between trees and shadows direct to the main entrance of the building.
We spent a year and a half or more on this project, working with one of the persons I care most in the world and who also happens to know about architecture. Having such clients is a privilege, because they let you do your work with an understanding of the reasons for your decisions.

Hermana República is a tasting place for Patito a beer made in a local brewery. Behind this tasting spot is the factory where the beer is made.
There are two conceptual axis that ruled this project; the first one was to create an environment that has a bound with the beer production, an industrial environment that is also a comfortable place to drink beer. The plan was to create a place that had an environment of a yucatecan cantina and a good restaurant where you can go and have a quality meal.
This house is located on the tropical coast of Yucatan, Mexico, its keynote idea being to confuse the borders existing between the “inside” and the “outside”. This duality gives rise to surprises and a constant awareness of situations occurring outside. Movement (motion) becomes particularly important, as does the change from day to night and the changing of seasons.
The project consists of a 240 sqm office building. The requirements were three premises for rent and the offices of an architectural practice. The field of 15 x 20 meters in a corner forced the building to be compacted in order to leave enough area for parking required. A building in 3 levels was proposed, the ground floor is occupied by the rent premises and the parking area, and the other two plants belong to the offices of the firm.
