Masader Arabian Office in Cairo, Egypt by Comelite Architecture & StructureApril 23rd, 2017 by Sumit Singhal
Article source: Comelite Architecture & Structure The main aspects of this design project were to keep the look simple and casual, with a modern and high class touch and with emphasis on the reception desk. CHALLENGE Masader Arabian decided to open a branch in Egypt and therefore purchased a floor of an apartment building. The Project Director, Mohammed Moktader was looking for an architectural company that would remodel and convert the apartment into an office. The two room apartment would have to be converted to an office with a reception, exhibition and waiting room, General Manager’s room, meeting room and rooms for the employees. The client was looking for a modern yet subtle look.
SOLUTION Some of the challenging issues that we had to consider was bringing down the least number of walls as possible and working within the budget of the client. Since the office was for a Real-estate company, the items used in the interior design had to reflect the profession of the company. RESULT The result was a medium to high class office interior design as well as multiple use of work units. We used an open reception leading into the exhibition room. The General Manager has comfortable access to his office from the entry hall which leads into an area separate from the employees’ rooms. The design was modern and fresh with a minimum number of colors giving it a more professional look. Categories: Interiors, office Complex, Office space, Offices |
