In the original site plan, rooms connected by a closed, narrow corridor, and there is not any public area to use, that is definitely not the space form we were expecting. In order to create a more interesting hotel, we downsize the space of hotel rooms, that makes the narrow corridor to be more capacious and versatile. The hotel has a lobby bar center, and many other lounges distributing in every parts, so that the hotel’s public area looks more like a café shop or leisure club, hoping the guests would like to come out from the private room to spend time freely in the public area.
Binet is a new generation of businesses incubator, which incorporates a specific quality of life, expressed by the workspace’s generosity and the facades openings. Its architecture reminds of the daylight factories. Terraces, workspaces, qualitative landscaping, views, multiple orientations … in short, an architecture that transforms urban and programmatic constraints into real assets. The facades of the building open on all sides with large regular bays. The entrance is through the lobby overlooking the garden, on the ground floor.
The project is one of the priority sites of the Urban Renewal Project, on which the City of Paris has decided to strengthen its action.
The competition team was led by Mario Russo, with Amilcar da Rocha Ferreira; Alba Bui with Clément Dupuy, Gregorio Pettoni and Guillaume Piveteau completed the studies; Stefano Lunardi and Adrien Fournier followed the site work.

The Hotel Bostalsee occupies an advantageous position in its natural surroundings, overlooking a serene lake from a wooded promontory. GRAFT’s design aims to build on and enrich the character of the location.
The building figure is a product of the surrounding topography. The hotel connects the realm of the wood with the expanse of the lake, mediating between the land and the water.
Guests arrive at the hotel through oak woodland, barely seeing the lake. The path to the hotel leads on towards two green hills on which the main section of the two-storey hotel rests. The lobby is situated beneath it at the natural gap between the hills, revealing a breathtaking view over the lake as one enters. The lobby frames the sunset which in turn animates the space with the cycle of nature. An open-air terrace with fireplace offers guests an opportunity to enjoy the evening spectacle.

During the conversion and expansion of the Hotel Tokaj in Hungary by NAPUR Architects, the original horseshoe-like construction of the building remained intact. On the eastern side, the building got completed with an additional unit, which lent the structure of the hotel a closed square shape. The resulting framed construction follows the ancient construction of a courtyard house type that fits into the traditional settlement structure.
The project is located on Srinakarin Road, one of the main roads of Southern Bangkok not far from Suvarnabhumi Airport with connection to the airport rail link. It targets at both travelers who stay within this semi-suburban area and who would make a journey further to the central. Lining in a row on the narrow plot of land, this 7-storey hotel with rooftop is divided into two buildings, connecting by a hotel lobby. The second floor consists of a dining area and a service counter while 92 guest rooms are on the upper floors. On the rooftop of the front building is a place for a control room but the rooftop of the back building provides space for meeting and banquet. The overall utility space is 5,365 square meters.
The Arctic TreeHouse Hotel project started with a concept design that was developed in close cooperation with the client. The inspiration for the accommodation concept set on a steep natural slope came from Nordic nature and culture. A vision started to form: small individual accommodation buildings set in nature, their spirit highlighting characteristics of the area and creating an optimal setting for experiencing both nature and arctic mysticism.
The Arctic TreeHouse Hotel accommodation units, shingle covered pine cone cows, grow in the nature and rising on their black stick legs among the rocks and trees. They wander downhill, peering curiously at the landscape and northern lights.
