“Bayonne Marinadour is the first intervention to be completed in a complex of actions marking the new entrance to the city of Bayonne. The other elements are a park produced by remodelling the approach road to Henri Grenet Bridge and, overlooking it, the built complex of Rivadour.

For its latest completed project, Powerhouse Company has brought a post-war shopping centre back to life in Heerlen, a city in the southern Netherlands. Commissioned by Dutch real estate investor NSI in 2012 by invited competition, Powerhouse Company has transformed ’t Loon shopping complex into an open and welcoming space to attract visitors. Breaking with the existing mall, Powerhouse Company’s design intertwines a new public square with retail space and a subterranean car park into an architecturally coherent and inviting whole.
The Kämp galleria shopping center is located in the center of Helsinki in the block called ’Antilooppi’, steeped in history. Espagalleria Co, which operates the center, wanted to develop the shopping center by extending the rentable area and changing the content in a more commercial direction. The solution was to create an indoor street in the Galleria on two floors and to radically change the interior look. References were taken from the city structure and the history of the property. In addition, the customers’ shopping experiences were improved by changing the circulation inside, and by creating views with new openings between the floors.
A major new shopping development and roof garden above Canary Wharf Crossrail Station has opened to the public today, ahead of the station opening in 2018. Stretching more than 300 metres along the north dock, the above ground scheme designed by Foster + Partners includes four levels of shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as extensive public gardens, which are densely planted with trees and plants, and interspersed with seating and pavilions – all partially enclosed by a timber lattice roof, which wraps around the building like a protective shell.

With the development of the city of Gostivar, proportionally are developing and emerging new human needs that impact on the concept of building that would occur in the city.

An oasis is an isolated place of a desert in which we found water and vegetation, that is to say more or less extensive portions of land fertilized by a water source in the middle of sandy grounds. in these places it can have small establishments inhabited; besides giving cultures to the near settlers, they serve to supply to the thirsty travellers and caravans; some times these were confused by optical illusions called mirages.
The very first South East Asian mixed-use complex of shopping, offices, hotel and convention centre built in the 70’s has gone through a major expansion and repositioning. With an entirely new face and content, its 6-storey shopping mall component has expanded to incorporate former parking areas and lower office floors in a total of 130,000 sqm of inside-out refurbishment. The new eye-catching folding façade wraps around the building with new entrances, display windows and digital screens.
