The new store’s design is based on the brand’s DNA. Breaking away from conventional commercial designs, the design team adopted warm-toned lighting, textures and diverse spatial languages, focused on users’ natural experiences at indoor and outdoor spaces, and meanwhile emphasized functionality and a vibe that fits in with the user community, with a goal to create a “spiritual” destination for snow enthusiasts.

Article source: AVA architects Located in Hoi An, 6.1 km from the Assembly Hall of Chaozhou Chinese Congregation, with 4 sides adjacent to roadways and to the east is the De Vong river, Bellerive resort – a property belonging to The Calico – owns the whole breathtaking spacious landscape of an eco-resort built on a land of 8700m2 characterized by the tropical hot and humid climate of Hoi An ancient town. From the bird’s-eye view, Bellerive is divided into two separate blocks including a 06-storey hotel block with a capacity of 178 appointed rooms and the luxurious villa block having from 2 to 3 bedrooms and an isolated pool in each. With modern architectural solutions combined with inspiration from Hoi An’s river heritage, Bellerive brings the typical local breath of the central coast of Vietnam with the image of simple fishing villages and rustic fishing boats floating on the poetic Hoai river.

Urban plot, confined between neighbors and whose visible confrontations had little or nothing significant from the landscape point of view. The pre-existence, heavily degraded and with little constructive value, lived in the typical and uninteresting duality between the street and the back courtyard. Moving away from this typology represents an attitude that is both logical and challenging, but above all, necessary and effective.

Article source: Najas Arquitectos ¨El Alambique¨ house, located in the Puembo region at the outskirts of Quito, between the Chiche and Guambí rivers has been located at a sloped site, overlooking a ravine. One of the design challenges was to sort out a home with a 70% first floor architectural program under the sloped topographic conditions, while allowing the internal garden to be mostly flat and fluidly connected to the inner and outdoor activities.

Article source: beef architekti Mallorca is an island full of beautiful natural landscapes together with picturesque stone towns full of history and tradition. We came as unaware visitors, who learned step by step how to enter the mediterranean territory with respect to the vernacular architecture. Our design reflects it by using traditional techniques and materials as stones from a local quarry. The stone facade, which is based on typical design that can be found all over the island as a fence or retaining walls that are constructed by using a traditional dry technique ‘Pedra en sec’. This local design has been declared as an intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2018.

The existing building housed their Diamond Polishing & Cutting Departments but they needed to add a Jewellery Creative Design Research & Development Department, for which they needed two additional floors to be added to the building.
