Neusoft International Software Park (Hekou Park) is located in Hekou Software Industry Base in Dalian High-tech Park and is built to expand its business and enhance its ability to adapt to the rapid development of international and domestic software and information services markets. The new park is a more historical and cultural park with integrating office, supporting and sports facilities to accommodate the software developers with a comfortable environment. The overall image of the buildings is vigorous and natural, striving to create the castle-style buildings in the mountain and to make a distinct impression.
In this project, the skyline of buildings is enhanced so that the characteristics of castles are expressed. The typical characteristics of castles are not the traditional architectural symbols, but its magnificent skylines. In the design process, we try to set up some elements to reinforce the impression of buildings. Furthermore, the visual images could be the guidance of users with which users would go in accordance with the routes the architects set.
According to the environmental characteristics, we focus on the design of a series of space with contexts. For instance, a sculptural minaret is built up in the center of a plaza of geometric shape so that the minaret stands far apart facing a dome. A sequence of contrast space that created aims to leave great impression on users.
Our design team is consists of eight main architects to participate in the work. Designers of the team are based on different ages and knowledge background and form a multiple team. A.C.C.’s working atmosphere encourages every designer to do the design, have independent thinking and creative imagination at the early stage. The concept of multiple collisions makes us strive to broaden the self in the design boundary of the imagination, and have a better understanding of the thinking of team partners through their expression of space. At the concept design phase, from data collection to the computer retrieval, the paper sketches the body block model and different directions of various kinds of antenna, we found the focus gradually.
From the master’s degree, under the guidance of Professor Mei Hongyuan, has engaged in the “architectural and environmental context integration”, “contemporary university campus development strategy”, and other research. At the same time, he has participated in the Beijing Four Seasons Ski Museum, Harbin International Convention and Exhibition Center, Harbin third middle school new campus planning and many other national, provincial and municipal key project designs. Has won several national, provincial excellent survey design award, and won the Fifth China Architecture Society “China Youth Architect Award “in 2004.
