The biggest mall administrator in Latin America, the BRMALLS Group is based in the Rio de Janeiro neighborhood Leblon, in which 124 employees work at, filling the 1019 m² floor. The project was based on values such as exchanging and learning and in the light atmosphere that celebrates the brazilian bossa nova.

The reception was inspired by the concierge of one of the group’s malls and its design incorporates the new company values. Shades of green and blue are a reference to the colors of the Leblon neighborhood beach and also, uses the brand’s blue tone. The metal structures form a large panel that organizes the guest and visitors flow in a soft and easy way.

A few meeting rooms are available for guests and staff right next to the reception. With different shape and sizes, the rooms’ sliding door system allows full flexibility by converting the structure into a large auditorium. Guests are directed to a large landing space by direct access through the front desk, which serves as a warm up while they wait to start a meeting.

The heart of this office is the large informal meeting area that stands out because of its wood flooring and ceiling. The large table organically-shaped work as the perfect place for quick meetings.

The cafeteria was built to have multiple functions. The Sliding doors and exhausting system make it the perfect lunch place for the staff. During the day, it can also be completely integrated into the space because of its flexible furniture and TV, resulting in a spacious meeting room.

The working area unusual appearance came from green colored slab and hanging acoustic clouds above the desks. In addition to their acoustic function, it serves as light diffusers contributing to the office outdoor feeling.

Central service structures were put strategically in easy access places. These structures can work as printer pooling, waste sorting, some as phone booths and alcove sofas that go along with the benches’ structure perimeter.

The perimeter joinery has an organic contour with different heights. This furniture was designed to be used as lockers, seats for quick meetings, as well as being a landscaping space.

In the ladies’ room, warm light, woody tones, the curvy-shaped mirrors and joinery create a more intimate space. On the other hand, the functionality in the men’s room is a result of the trough-inspired sink and the metal structure base.
