Science Forest – Museo della Scienza di Roma, Rome Italy by ADAT Studio

March 26th, 2024 by Sanjay Gangal

Article Source: Ross Belfer

ADAT Studio competed against 70 international and Italian architecture firms, and presented an innovative design scheme that adheres to the strongest sustainability measures, whilst creating an architectural marvel that will infuse new life and experiences to the evolving Flaminio district of Rome, which is known as an area with examples of modern and historical architecture in Rome, from 1930s rationalist buildings to structures built for the 1960 Olympics that reflect that decade’s urban-planning philosophy to 21st-century award-winning sites.

ADAT Studio’s presentation was approved by a jury consisting of the world’s most prestigious architects and industry experts – including Daniel Libeskind, Benedetta Tagliabue, Fokke Moerel, Alessandro D’Onofrio. The brief was conceived by the Scientific Commission, which is chaired by Nobel Prize-winning Prof. Giorgio Parisi.

Češča Vas Pool Complex, Novo Mesto, Slovenia, by ENOTA

Article source: Ema Klemen

New pool complex Češča vas is located in a space dominated by the existing, recently renovated velodrome. It is our preference not to drastically alter the spatial relationships with the erection of the new swimming pool facility as it would introduce disorder that the space could do without, and further saturate it. The new pool facility thus takes advantage of the topographic properties of the inclined terrain. It is sited as low as possible and does not constitute a new dominant in the space.

Sheng Yongxing, Shanghai China By Tanzo Space Design

I believe that design should be intangible and internalized, much like traditional Chinese culture, constantly rejuvenating and returning to its essence through profound understanding of truths and principles.
Through continuous effort and experimentation, the new Sheng Yongxing with Eastern attributes rises like a bright moon, positioning itself as richly colorful and peacefully serene after research and analysis.
