The Observatory rises above a labyrinth of canals, salt marshes and small islands that punctuate the landscape of the lagoon. The building serves as a welcome centre for the Natural Park’s visitors, who search for the biodiversity of the Vouga River’s estuary.
The project is located in Gualtar, a peripheral area of the city of Braga, north of Portugal, that is under a process of transformation of a rural to a periurban context, with no relevant urban references.
The Prudêncio Studio concept store is a performative installation-space. The clothing exhibition project defines rigid straight lines that accentuate the longitudinal character of the existing space and creates a set of parallel layers of movable vertical panels, allowing multiple spatial compositions.

This is a student house located in the center of Porto city. The experience of construction workers permitted the development of good level details of construction, even using the simplest materials. The building has a total of four floors: the basement, the ground floor, the first floor and the attic. In the basement is where the community areas are: two kitchens, two bathrooms, a storage space and a technical area. Within the main kitchen, there is an informal living area that – with the help of the backyard garden – offers a continuous space, for social student gatherings.
A bourgeois 19th century single family house was to be divided into a series of identical studio apartments: four living spaces, some circulation areas and a private backyard. The project happens within a given system of constraints, aiming at an unexpected complexity, finding a certain interest within a very banal set of programs.
The space is characterized by his small dimension, only 25 sq/m and a unique facade turned into one of the busiest streets in town.
In the spatial organization approach our main concern was to valorize the art of preparation and the transformation of the fish. In order to achieve that, we draw an exposed balcony to the eyes of the consumer. By putting it on the opposite side of the main entrance we´ve made the sushiman the space protagonist, and we´ve granted a quite frank cook/costumer relation, granting the needed confidence to a public that still sees sushi as a strange dish.
Vila do Conde apartment is on the 3rd floor of an 80’s building not very qualified in the design and finishing materials, which is a duplex by the use of the attic area.
The project intentions were to reorganize the spaces, renovate the finishing materials and define a new environment with the furniture design.
Facing South, the living room and the kitchen share an open space with access to the balcony. Facing North, one of the rooms was transformed into an office space and the other remained as the main bedroom.
A complete re-do project with special official built heritage department approval of a single family house, built on the fifties, with modern lines, and located in the heart of the historical center of Silves, Algarve, Portugal.
